THE HISTORIC HEARTLANDS OF NORTHWEST BC
Founded in 1866, the Village of Hazelton is one of British Columbia’s earliest non-Indigenous settlements. Built near the confluence of the Skeena and Bulkley Rivers, the community grew as an important transportation and trading hub during the telegraph era, Omineca Gold Rush, and development across Northwestern British Columbia. |
