STEKYODEN Visible from communities throughout the region, Stekyoden, also known as Hagwilget Peak is one of the Hazeltons' most recognizable landmarks. Rising above the landscape, the mountain creates a dramatic backdrop that is constantly changing with your location, the seasons, weather, and time of day. No matter where you explore, you will discover a different perspective. |
Some of the best places to take in the view include:
- The Hazeltons’ Visitor Centre in New Hazelton;
- Hagwilget Canyon Bridge and the nearby Bulkley Viewpoint;
- 'Ksan Point, at the confluence of the Skeena and Bulkley Rivers on site at ‘Ksan Village;
- Downtown Hazelton; and
- The Lookout Loop Trail in the Glen Mountain Trail Network
The Hazeltons are filled with remarkable natural beauty. Look west toward the Seven Sisters Mountain Range, follow the winding Skeena and Bulkley Rivers, or explore nearby provincial parks including Seeley Lake, Ross Lake, and Anderson Flats, each offering its own unique views and outdoor experiences.
