Anderson Flats Provincial Park
At the confluence of the Skeena and Bulkley Rivers across from ‘Ksan Historical Village, sits Anderson Flats Provincial Park. This site offers a peaceful place to camp, cast a line, and enjoy the beauty of the Hazeltons. The park features free campsites, easy river access, and excellent opportunities for fishing and day use. Visitors can access the park via Omenica or Aldous Streets, turning on to Hazelton Station Road in South Hazelton. Please note that the road is unpaved and may be rough for some vehicles.
The area reflects many layers of the Hazeltons' history, having long served as an important gathering and trading place for Indigenous peoples until later becoming the site of a Methodist mission and even a golf course.
